Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix showed a flair for sports early, and discovered her talent for sprinting while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her first race, Felix was 2nd in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003. She then enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. She broke a Junior World Record by running 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion for running 200m. The following year, she was able to defend the title in front of her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently in the top third in each of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
