Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix discovered early that she was gifted in running while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks, after her first attempt. Felix graduated from high school in 2003 and became a part of Adidas to become professional athlete. The following year she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world in the 200m. The following year, she was able to defend the title against her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She was consistently at the top of the podium in every event.
